Sensors technology that was developed at top speed in the past two decades results in the amount increasing and complexity of information. Data Fusion, a new field of science, came into being justly under this background. The destination of this science is to help people to deal with a great deal of information. The research of Data Fusion is of important not only to our country抯 defense but also to all society and all people. This thesis puts the emphasis on following aspects: Firstly, we systematically introduce fundamental theory of Data Fusion, including the background, the development, the basic definition, the basic model and so on. At the end of this part, we come up with the researching directions of this field. Secondly, 1MM (Interacting Multiple Model) algorithm is discussed. On the basis of Simulation, we compare the performance of 1MM algorithm with other algorithms and present the characters of it further. At the same part, we also discuss the regulation of choosing target models that are being used to construct the 1MM filter. Thirdly, we study the identity discernment with the using of D-S theory and put forward the general solving procedure of the problem. At last, we combine the Windows DNA抯 software design method with Data Fusion research and adopt triple-layer structure to describe Data Fusion system, come up with a new model of Data Fusion system. On the basis of this, we design the Simulation Platform of Data Fusion System and develop some function modules.
