Telemetry System Electric Energy Based On The Gsm / Gprs Network Communication Terminal Design

According to the development of automatic reading meter technology, embedded system technology and GSM/GPRS technology in recent years, this dissertation mainly discusses the developing process for a Remote Electric Energy Measurement System Based on GSM/GPRS Network Communication.In chapter 1, a description about the significance of research work, the current research status of remote Electric Energy Measurement System, MCU, embedded system and GSM/GPRS technology is given.In chapter 2, the functions of the whole system are discussed in detail, and system architechture is described.In chapter 3, a description about the Terminal of the remote Electric Energy Measurement System is given. Through discussing the functions of the Terminal, two design solutions are given. The first is, remote Electric Energy Measurement System based on GSM network. The second is, remote Electric Energy Measurement System based on GPRS network.In chapter 4, the hardware and software design of the former one are discussed in detail. The hardware is based on 89C51 MCU, while the software is written in C51. From the implementation, the software is composed of main-station communication module, PDA communication module, timing module, reading meter module, storing data module, frequently inspect module and remote update module.In chapter 5, the hardware and software design of the latter one are discussed in detail. The hardware is designed based on embedded processor ARM7, while the software is designed based on embedded linux. The differences and improvements compared with the former scheme are also introduced.In chapter 6, the main research conclusion is summarized. The prospect of further research work is also made.
