The project of discreted brake was raised and 3D graphic parametric library of typical parts and assemblies was established. 3D solid modeling and parameter-driven between dimensions and relations were accomplished using Pro/ENGINEER. The graphic library system take parametric graphic library reference and management, has a open expansion interface. Pro/TOOLKIT-the further developing modules of Pro/ENGINEER-was studied and the question of customizing the procedure interface at the synchronous mode was resolved and the communication with Pro/ENGINEER was completed. The parametric design software for the typical brake parts and assemblies was complied which was integrated into Pro/ENGINEER. The mathematical model of trigging process was established, the trigging equation was reasoned and interrelated solution was given and the numerical simulation analytical procedure of brake was compiled.
