Network And Human Development

At the end of twenty Century Internet is developing at veiy fast speed. It has changed human society profoundly and has varied mode of production, life style, manner and thinking of people. Therefore Internet becomes the issue of many specialists and researchers to study. A variety of theses have been provided, but few have been about the relationship between Internet and human development. This paper is trying to come up with a few new but raw opinion about this. It consists of four parts.In the preface, First it is made clear that net as a tern specially point to network or Internet. Then there is a brief introduction about the topic including the resource of theme, research status quo pertinent to topic and sense of choosing such topic.The first part mainly introduces the essential survey about network which including its origin, development, characteristics, function and effect. Just because its speeding development and advantages get people and society developed.The second part is a discussion mainly about network' s advantage to the development of people which is embodied in meeting human needs, developing social relation, displaying of individuality and enhancing man s competence; and of society which is embodied in many developing fields such as economy, politics, culture, education, and advancement of productivity and amusement.The third part is an analysis of many problems which Internet bring on society and its people from the standpoint of dialectic materialism. Firstly, it expatiates that problems mainly involve network crime, virus, information rub-bish, hacker attack and human enslavement in network communication. Then it analyzes the reasons which include the diversity between virtual and reah'ty. characteristics of Internet itself, and limited technology.In the last part, it puts forward corresponding measures in allusion to problems above and speculates the foreground of internet and human development. In order to avoiding and reducing negative influence that internet caused, it must be fathered synthetically by way of technology , raw, rule, morality; and people be educated by public voice for the development of people and society together with network harmoniously.
