Discrete Manufacturing Enterprise Inventory Management Information Systems Research And Development

Purchasing, Inventory and Distribution are three of the key problems in the enterprise management. Using information system to manage the data of Purchasing, Inventory and Distribution will lead us to lower cost, higher efficiency, better data analysis and more accurate decision-making.This dissertation is focused on the Procurement and Inventory Management System based on the component technology.We set up the function model and the information model of the system according to several months' investigation in some manufacturing enterprises. The component-based model of the enterprise information management system is established to enhance the efficiency of software developing. Components are designed according to this model. We use Delphi6.0 to realize these components based on COM, and then build up the Procurement and Inventory Management System.This system has been used successful in the Southwestern Electronics & Telecommunication Research Institute.
