In radar signal and information processing system, data acquisition system is indispensable as a very important unit. In modern radar system, wide or ultra wide band radar signal is used more widely. Accordingly, by using digital signal processing, we need high-speed data acquisition system to get information. In traditional radar receiver, the consistency of phase-and-amplitude is imperfect, which limit the performance achievable from signal processors. To overcome this problem, we think to digitized the signal at medium frequency, even RF, and then demodulate it in digital domain. In the same, only the high-speed data acquisition system can satisfy the requirement.To process datum real time, the interface between computer and high-speed data acquisition system is a challenge. The PCI local Bus is superior in fast transmission and better compatibility. Today, it has become more and more popular. We have designed the high-speed data acquisition card with S5920. The testing results suggest that the function of the PCI card is correct and the performance is excellent.The main topics included in this paper are as follows:1. The working principle and block diagram of the 400MHz high-speed data acquisition system tested are introduced.2. The method and principle of ENOB testing of data acquisition system in the software are analyzed, with relative testing data and analysis given.3. PCI protocol and S5920 are introduced.4. The principle of the PCI card and the driver program are introduced in detail.
