| WAP is a global wide specification used for communications between the mobile equipments. Internet or other personal digital assistants and computers. It consists of a series of protocols and standardizes various wireless communication devices. It can be used for accessing Internet, including: sending and receiving E-Mail, browsing card in WAP site.By WAP, we can connect mobile network, Internet and Intranet. WAP provides a mobile Value Added Services independent on the type of network, CP/SP and terminal devices.By this technology, no matter where and when you are ,only if you need information, you can turn on your WAP mobile telephone, and then you can enjoy the endless information and resource on network, such as: comprehensive news weather report stock information, exchange rate. Following the development of business on network, electronic business and bank on-line can be realized in the coming future.Based on WAP2.0, this thesis introduces the architecture and protocols of WAP, WAP security Provisioning architecture and content, Push and WML XML XHTML language applied in WAP. And according to the projcct-"TiRen life", we developed one WAP site and discussed the experience and lessons about the developmental policies and methods during this process. |
