Based On Windows Ce.net Handheld Terminal System Software Design

According to the development of embedded system technology in recent years, this dissertation introduces the design of a handheld terminal system based on Windows CE.NET. The hardware design, system porting and application software development are discussed.In Chapter 1, introduces the usage of handheld terminal system, and embedded operating system.In Chapter 2, presents the development of Windows CE .NET, and the system architecture of Windows CE .NET.In Chapter 3, analysis the system requirement, designs the system hardware, choose the CPU and communication method. And gives the software design.In Chapter 4, discuesses the steps of porting Windows CE .NET to the hardware platform. Introduces the porting tools, Microsoft Platform Builder.In Chapter 5, gives the developing of application software. Firstly, discusses the application software basic architecture and design model in two parts. Secondly, discusses the related software develop technology; such as dealing with Unicode, serial communication, multi thread and ADO database access. At last, the method of debugging handheld system software is intrduced.In Chapter 6, the main research conclusion is summarized. The prospect of further research work is also made.
