| With rapid development of wireless network, it is possible that users can access spatial information services in mobile environment. So the spatial information service platform for mobile users is forwarded. Since wireless network transmission speed is much slower than the wire network and the performance of mobile terminal such as storage and CPU is worse compared with PC, the platform for mobile users is not equivalent to the spatial information service platform for wire users. So we should think much of limitations of mobile factors including the network and terminals when we design the spatial information service platform for mobile users and mobile terminals.In this article, my main work is to research key technology of three parts including the spatial information service platform, mobile terminals for spatial information service and the transmission between the platform and the terminals. My research aim is to find some methods that make the platform can more effectively provide service for mobile users and users can more efficiently access the service platform in such current wireless environment. In this article, I propose two descriptions of objects. In addition, according to different data formats (grid and vector), I forward two different transmission algorithms, in order to shorten the transmission bytes in wireless networks. Furthermore, I analyze key technologies of mobile terminals and provide methods for design of terminals. |
