Based On Workflow Technology Of Electronic Performance Support System

As we all know, much work have been done on the basic research of EPSS (Electric Performance Support System), but the application research of EPSS is rare in China.The current EPSS in embedded and linked form is mainly aiming to some specific software or workflow. It's in single function, not prevalent and difficult to be extended and customized. Moreover, the structure of it is c/s or personal, it's complicated to operate and difficult to accord with the collaboration of the works.For all of above, this paper provides a flexible B/S-structured EPSS based on the Workflow Technology. The primary works are as follows:1. This paper researches into the knowledge expressing and storing of the process model, and a current process model warehouse is designed.2. The basic supporting platform of the system is composed of a resource model warehouse, an organization model warehouse, a paper model warehouse and a process model warehouse.3. A routing engine of the process model and resource pushing rules are designed and realized.4. The EPSS model and project instance warehouses are designed. And a highly flexible and current EPSS is developed.5. In the course of developing the system, the architecture of MVC (model-view-controller) is used, which makes the business logic view and the user view separated. It makes the implementation and maintenance of system become easier.
