Trunking Mobile Communication Signaling Mpt1327 Based On Hierarchical State Machine Applications

The trunking communication system is a kind of private land mobile communi-cation system which allowing many users use a same set of channels simultaneously and dynamically. MPT1327 is an open signalling standard of trunked private land mobile radio system. It is a classical signalling standard of analog systems. With the development of modern science, digital trunked radio system is developing very fast. But now it is an interim. The analog trunked system will exist for a long time due to its technology maturity, wide application and relative low price. And the significant idea brought by MPT1327 still can not be substituted. To research the signalling has realistic and academic value. The author re-designed the kernel of the high level control system's architecture -of the old radio firmware, based on the MPT1327 signalling study and research. The design used the hierarchical state machine to replace the original flat state machine. Simultaneity, the author analyized the hardware resource limit of the embedded en-vironment and accomplished the project goal by avioding these limit and improving the software design. Firstly, the thesis introduces the background knowledge and information of the trunked mobile radio system and MPT1327. Then it describes the histroy of the con-ventional flat state machine and its shortage. Then introduces the hierarchical state machine and describes the transform process from flat mode to hierarchical mode, -and the advantage and new featrures of the hierarchical mode state machine. Finally, based on the optimization, the author implimentes the functional feature enhancement of the firmware and introduces the detail design in the thesis. The main contributions of the author are the follows: 1. Studied and researched the MPT1327 signalling; 2. Analyzed and resolved the hardware resource limit of the embedded environment; 3.
