| Video surveillance system is widely used in many fields such as scientific researches, security, communication intelligence, flying object traction. It plays an important role in national economy and national defense construction. The existing surveillance system is constructed by video capture card and industrial computer, and this system remains unstable and expensive. This paper mainly focuses on design of an embedded video surveillance system based on DSP and ARM, and it has function of computer visual detection. The DSP system takes TM320C5416 of TI as its center processor to realize digital collection of module visual signal by high-speed decoding circuit; ARM system uses S3C4510B of Samsung to operate on network transmission and provide Web services by running of uClinux embedded operating system. High-speed digital signal processor of TI company is adopted to do image-processing, and S3C4510B of Samsung company is taken as center chip. Decoded video signal is placed into frame buffer to capture video signal, decode or detect motion under the control of DSP, then detected image and motion results are transmitted by S3C4516 to guarantee visit of embedded video surveillance system via internet from client. The design can not only solve problems such as low stability and high price of PC-based video surveillance systems, but also perfect existed embedded video surveillance systems (DSP-based or RISC-based). In order to realize data of DSP and ARM, owe design h/s outlet that make use of HPI to transfer data of DSP and ARM chips. ARM+uClinux solution is adopted in micro control processor subsystem and we developed the boot loader for our development board. A fast anti-jamming motion detection algorithm is applied to support intelligent video surveillance. |
