| In order to develop the integrated services LAN, based on the summary of the accessmode of LAN, this thesis put forward a new medium access mode of LAN------DoubleToken and Double Loop that is each loop has its own token. Through the analysis on the physical mechanism of the Double Loop LAN, the queue model of the integrated services LAN which is M / D / 1 [K] / ∞/ FCFS is obtained, and the mathematical resolution and the simulation experiment is carried through. It shows that this Double Loop LAN can not only improve the dependability of the Loop LAN, but also enhance the throughput of the networks in a large range, so the academic foundation for the application of this Double Loop LAN is provided under the condition of the integrated services.By the way, due to the research requirement of this thesis, the extendibility of the queue model M / M /1 in the former research is discussed and three new extended models are proposed based on the primary four extended models. Especially the case that customers failed in serving and needed feeding back to be served again is extended. These queue models are resolved and at the same time the average feedback time of the customers who failed in serving and needed feeding back to be served again is resolved. The innovative evolvement in this paper prepared the foundation for the development of this graduate thesis "A new protocol of the Double Loop LAN of the integrated services and its mathematic modeling". |
