Distributed object technology is an important technology of computer software development. It has better opening capability and more expansibility than traditional developing technology.This paper firstly introduces both Distributed object technology and CORBA, discusses the history and fundamental of Distributed object technology, and explains the reason why DOC is so popular among modern enterprises. According to the current status of Power monitor system, a Distributed Power Monitor system based on CORBA is put forward. Furthermore, it also brings forward a flatform of run-time management based on service object. Pay more attention to research several service object in this flatform of run-time management: according to lucubrate object location mechanism of CORBA and it performance, network management service provides the function of storage, resolve and lookup for object reference of application object during the running system and the function of notification about relevant events; According to researching on access control mechanism of CORBA and RBAC, security service based on RBAC offer the function of managing privileges of system user about access control. This method improves the flexibility of system security management by separating user management and privilege management using the concept of Role; because of the nature of time sensitivity in monitor system, time synchronization service improves on the current synchronization arithmetic and makes the whole system synchronized.Secondly, we discuss the fault-tolerant technology and propose a FT-service model. The fault tolerant model builds on the level of the service. We applied the fault tolerant on service which in the flatform of run-time management.At last, the thesis sums up the achievements and puts forward the problematic points to be perfected.
