What this thesis discuss is the design of receiver that serving in experiment hardware platform of MIMO mobile communication system. MIMO is the major technique in the new generation mobile communication system, which makes use of several antennas to carry signals on receivers and transmitters. MIMO can expand the system capacity under the condition of not take up the excessive bandwidth. The experiment system provides a platform for research MIMO communication signal processing algorithm and design of new antenna. At first, introduce the development history of mobile communication, the benefits and development of MIMO technical, work of this thesis. Then the main concept and framework of receiver is introduced. The basic theory of IF signal processing, such as sample theory, quartered demodulating technology, filtering, draw-off and interpolating theory is discussed. Briefly introduce the whole experiment hardware platform. The receiver of the platform is discussed detailedly. Then, the system scheme analysis and proof, implementation of base-band functional unit are introduced. Some test results are presented. Design a kind of receiver based on IF sample. According to the request of experiment, the IF frequency, the sample rate and digital mixing parameter are confirmed .Finally according to the symbol rate received, design the project of the sample rate transformation differently. Verify the IF sample receiver project based on simulation.
