In this dissertation, a gas SCADA application system is introduced. The system can transmit the data of gas meter back to the supervisory control center of gas company automatically, safely, accurately, duly. The system can meet the gas commany's pressing requirement for SCADA system. The development of this system has the very important significance on the intellectualized construction of living-community and the modern management for utility decision-maker. The system core is an embedded supervisory control terminal, the supervisory control terminal acquires the data of direct-reading gas meter by M-BUS, communicates with the supervisory control center of gas company by GPRS net. The supervisory control terminal uses S3C4510B chip as hardware kernel, uses embedded operating system VxWorks as develop flat of application soft; direct-reading gas meter's CPU is MSP430F1121 chip. The system is an economical system that can be constructed expediently, can be extended functions easily, and the system is feasible.
