In the field of traditional power line carrier (PLC) communication, the modulation-demodulation cells of PLC were realized with analog methods and chips.This traditional PLC systems can't meet the market demand for higher communication quality. An all digital modulation-demodulation project based on TMS320C6713 is proposed in this paper, which aims at the high speed PLC communication. The development and applications of PLC communication is introduced in this paper. And the algorithm research and hardware-software implementation of the all digital single sideband (SSB) modulation-demodulation project are detailed. This module mainly consists of two systems of DSP,two FIFOs,two EEPROMs,A/D conversion circuit, CPLD control logic, watchdog circult,OP amplifier and filter circuit。The results of the debugging show that the module meets the desirable requirements and improves the system's rate of performance and price.So the system has gotten well economic and social benefits.
