Multi-tier Distributed Business Management Information Systems Research And Development

In recent years, because scale of retailer expands constantly, the commercial performance of the management information system is asked to be better, especially business inflation and trans-regional chain operation of amount of information lead to the question that traditional C/S two-tiers system structure can't meet business' demands, and the work is more and more strenuous to safeguard the system. Because of these, The application of multi-layer distributed structure on manage information system which is based on analysing retail trade is researched deeply in this article, Furthermore the two modules among them (the business administration, management and running )is designed and developed in detail.The principle of multi-layer distributed is researched detailedly at first, including deposit and withdraw, upgrade, be fault-tolerant, connect principle of the pool,etc. Secondly, guided on multi-layer distributed thought and adopting the object-oriented method, the analysis and design about the management information system of the commerce is carried on, In the analyzing stage, use case model, class model and database model is created which based on the management information system of the commerce. In designing phase, the business is specified. And multi-layer distributed technology is applied to design, based on the commercial management information system C/S/S —three system structure model is set up, it meet the separation between view layer and business logic layer. In the final, programming is carried on according to the customer end, intermediate level, the mapping between design and codes is realized. it is realizing stage concretly of the system too, the database support Oracle9i and SQL Server2000 ,and meet different requisitions for data base selection of merchandising concern, and joining to database pool is realization in detail at the same time.Through the research of multi-layer and distributed and the development of the management information system of commerce, I have received the ideas which inthe following several respect:(1) Because distributed data processing id realized, a application program is put on many servers to run, it has improved the systematic processing speed, have strengthened fault-tolerant performance. At the busy pierod(such as May Day, the Spring Festival), it can increase and use the server and improve systematic processing speeds.(2) Different customer end can share a encapsulation retail trade logic and use theserver,it reduced the systematic maintenance cost greatly. Because of the thin customer end, make the customer end software easier to issue, install, dispose, upgrade, have strengthened the systematic flexibility, commercial trans-regional various kinds of problems have solved the questions is brought that manages of chain.(3) It is good for safe, some sensitive functions are put on layer with tight safeguardprocedures, and user's interface can not be complicated either.There is something to be care, this case is described in the article is two concrete module in the commercial the management information system, integrate test is finished now. it will be introduced to the market, and it will be important systematically in commercial management in the near future.
