| High-resolution direction of arrival estimation, whose target is to get high-resolution direction estimates, plays an important role in array signal processing. This paper first introduced mechanisms of rediowave direction-finding with circle antenna-array. Then the conventional method was analyzed. And because of its disadvantages, we think of IMP(Incremental Multi-Parameter) method based on conventional method. The subspace-based method MUSIC(Multiple Signal Classification) also was introduced and if conditions are perfectly satisfied, this method can get wonderful results. But application of this method from theory into practice is still very difficulty and it can't be applied to coherent signals which exist almost everywhere. So when we use MUSIC method, it must be improved. The project design adopted interferometer system which has been developed and is familiar to us. But this system can only measure one signal. The next generation of direction-finding machines should have the function of measuring multiple signals simultaneously. So we must think of other algorithms for the new generation systems. Finally we choose IMP algorithm for the new system. And simulations of this method were carried out on the computer with MATLAB. The results show that it has a high resolution and can distinguish signals arriving closely in direction. |
