Noncontact printing is one of the important technologies to make microarrays . A new noncontact technology called Digital Noncontact Printing, which is based on Micro Fluidic Digital Technology, is discussed in this thesis. To do research on Digital Noncontact Printing technology, the printing experimental system is built. The program used to control two-dimension worktable' s movement is developed. After studying on the element rupture, the relationship between the element rupture and parameters: liquor viscosity, micro nozzle' s diameter, PZT' s voltage, the distance between the head of micro nozzle and slide, is explained. On the basis of that, a microarray is made and its properties are examined, such as density, feature size, regularity and uniformity. An image-processing program, which is developed by Matlab, measures uniformity. The result of examination shows that microarray' s properties are up to par. |
