| The millimeter wave (MMW) Inter-pulse stepped frequency radar is a type of wide-band high-range-resolution radar. The radar has many advantages such as high-range -resolution, anti-jamming, identification of correct and false targets; therefore it has great potential value of applications in military and civilian goods. According to the practical performance and implementation of the radar, the following researches have been completed.1. The waveform design principles of inter-pulse stepped frequency radar are presented, which are based on the analysis of the radar features. In terms of requirements of specification, the key technique parameters are presented. This work is fundamental for later experimental studies.2. The frequency synthesizer is the core device of MMW inter-pulse stepped frequency radar, and its performance has great effects on radar system. The implementation of phase-locked frequency synthesizers based on frequency synthesizer monolithic (PE3236) is described in detail. The researches are emphasized on design of L wave band frequency synthesizer.3. MMW T-shape Waveguide Power Divider and E-plane waveguide filter are designed and manufactured. The measured results show that the MMW T-shape wave guide power divider and E wave-guide filter fit the all-around needs of the system. |
