The command system of china fishery supervision and management is a special computer network developed by Fishery Bureau of Agricultural Department. Now the system has been used successfully in our works. A large amount of data has been accumulated and satisfied the user' s need basically for data storage, inquiry and statistic.But, some problems are found in further use. The command system application is confined to just inquiry, statistic and so on, which is far from playing the role and value of data in the data warehouse. It is an urgent task to make further analysis of fishing ship data, moving trend, working and distribution characteristic of fishing boat to make scientific and feasible policy to control fishing intensity.The paper studies the data warehouse in the fishery command system application, using fishing boat management work which is badly needed as the subject, according to the fishing management characteristics, makes demand analysis, sets the data warehouse granularity and sets up a logical mode of data warehouse.In the data warehouse construction, the paper studies working method of data sampling, transform, ETL and relevant strategies, and uses SQL Server 2000 as provide data transform service tool. The previous data are complied in the data warehouse, thus the data warehouse is established.A multi-dimension data collection of fishing boat, fishing boat annual auditing and violation records is established.The paper makes multi-dimensional analysis of the data in data warehouse by si icing,si icing-block, dri11 ing. The paper establishes decision-making tree data mining model and clustering data mining model to make data mining with a multi-dimension data collection.On this basis,the writer puts forward future study direction in practical works.
