| Nowadays the construction of hospital informationization relatively lags behind, hospital information management mainly in financial information is realized in most hospitals above county level. However, the clinical information system based on patients' medical treatment data has just got started, in which the health examination information system is indispensable. With the maturity of techniques in both personal digital assistant (PDA), wireless local area networks (WLAN) and the increasingly lower cost of hardware, the PDA and WLAN are becoming more and more adopted in all walks of life, which provide chances for developing mobile health examination information system.This paper aims to introduce research origin based on the development of health examination information system with the PDA and WLAN, significance, and contents of the research. Having analyzed health examination work and technical background, we designed a series of wireless local area networks projects, software modules, and mobile health examination database. We have put forward wireless local networks standard distributed coordination function arithmetic, so as to set up a kind of throughput optimization modules, design the throughput optimization arithmetic and simulate the arithmetic. We have realized retrieving and saving of remote PDA data, software function, database table structure, user's interface, etc. We have also realized such functions as inputing of health examination information, totaling, summarizing, analyzing, inquiring, making health examination appointments, collecting fees, summarizing amount of work, as well as mobilizaion test of health examination process, paperless office work, collecting digital information, standardizing input and output of networks communication.Setting up health examination information system based on PDA WLAN will contribute to better service, higher efficiency, stronger competibility among hospitals, and promote construction of hospital informationization. |
