The technology of data acquisition is an important branch of the communication science,It's a integrative application technology based on sensor, signal measuring and processing, andComputer technology .etc. Thereinto, the combination of computer technology and technologyof test instruments results with the appearance of a new test instrument, virtual instruments (VI).The software strategy of VI is the developing trend of the third generation of automatic testsystem.This thesis researched the design and implementation of mufti-channel data acquisitionand signal processing system based on PCI bus. First, The paper discussed the basal theory ofdata acquisition and the technology of PCI Bus in-depth;Based on this, chose the KPCI-811collection card for acquisition tool, built the data acquisition system;Then developed the WDMmode driver of the card in Windows 2000 Using WinDriver. Last wrote the super stratumapplication software in VB compiled environment. Thereinto, the data acquisition moduletransferred the driver to realize the accessing of card Using dynamic link library technology,after testing, every function was right and it improved effectively the transfer speed betweenA/D card and computer;the data processing module realized the function of the applicationsoftware to analyze and process the data collected using interface programming between VBand Matlab based on COM groupware. It achieved the prospective aim of the "virtualinstruments (VI)".
