Wavelet Domain Watermarking Algorithm Based On Chaotic Image

With the fast development of computer network and multimedia technique, more and more digital products circulate by Internet now. As known, it makes common life more convenient, meanwhile, a troublesome problem appears. It is so easy to copy, tamper and transmit a digital product. In several recent years, the owners of the digital productions put their attention to the protection of their ownership, because of the abuse of the pirate. In the situation, digital watermark technology was proposed in 1990's and has been playing an important role, which is an effective solution to provide copyright protection and ownership authentication. Today, a lot of scientists in different field have been exerting their efforts in watermarking. The future of digital watermarking is hopeful.In this paper, we focus on the study of digital watermarking technology and its corresponding algorithms. The paper begins with an introduction of some basic theoretic knowledge such as background, category, application field, existing representative algorithms and so on. In succession, we start to introduce the definition and the model of digital watermark technology. In third chapters, we study the wavelet transform as preparation for digital image watermarking. We discuss the many kinds of thought, which used in digital image watermarking, and select some of them for our new algorithm, such as Arnold transform, Baker map. In Chapter Five, a new algorithm was proposed, which is a safe robust digital image watermarking algorithm based on discrete wavelet transform. Last, we exert some experiments to analyze the performance of the new algorithm and make conclusion.
