| With the development of IP technology , VoIP technology becomes a new research focus . Two kinds of main present VoIP Protocols are H.323 and SIP. H.323 protocol is more complicated, it is more difficult to realize, and can't totally meet the request for transmitting the multimedia under Internet. And SIP is the protocol designed on the basis of Internet. It have simple, easy characteristics etc.. And with unified IP core network gradual establishment of status, communication development of network technology, SIP protocol will occupy very important position in future.At first, we explained technological background and development prospect of VoIP in this article , then introduced relevant protocols base'd on SIP VoIP system. On the basis of analysing and researching SIP protocol stack carefully , we designed VoIP system based on SIP in the LAN. Finally , this paper did the summary to the full text in the conclusion part , and point out a research direction with next subject. |
