Image Fusion Method And Effectiveness Evaluation Studies

In the field of image fusion, how to evaluate fused images is an important problem. And the problem hasn't been satisfactorily solved yet. For the purpose of judging the effect of fused images, it's very necessary to search a perfect image fusion evaluation method that is fit for the characteristic of people's seeing system and of the subjective judge ability.In this dissertation, based on the IHS transform fusion method, we present a new kind of image fusion method and get a reasonable fusion result. Furthermore, we bring out a new kind of image evaluation criteria based on the Fuzzy integral to evaluate the resolution information. In the final, we make some experiments and analyze the results.The analysis result shows that the evaluation criteria presented in this paper is comparatively a somewhat better fused image evaluation. We may have some tries to use it in some fields. And with the fusion method based on HPF we can get comparatively ideal fused images.
