It appears a lot of new type Flat Panel Display (FPD). The display quality of FPD is almost the same as the traditional Cathode Ray Tube(CRT) display. Simultaneously, FPD also has good characteristics, such as small size and low power. Especially, the colored Thin Film Transistor Liquid-crystal display (TFT-LCD), whose mass production technology is becoming mature, has dominated the market of FPD.The aim of this paper is to design a general debugging platform which can improve the convenient of debugging LCD module (LCM), and provide a useful demo and debugging platform in the process of customer serving. In this paper, the characteristic and problem of current LCM debugging platform are firstly discussed. It proposed the necessity of the new LCM debugging platform, which is based on USB interface. Then general construction and working principle are introduced. Afterward each chapter detailed the design scheme of software and hardware module which constitutes the whole testing platform. This project includes three parts concerning hardware: LCM application circuit, ARM system periphery circuit and USB interface circuit; also includes three parts concerning software: the firmware program of micro-controller, USB device driving program, and upper application. To extend firmware conveniently in the future, the real-time operating system-μC/OS-Ⅱis chosen. LCM module can support 18 bit data parallel input at best as for general-purpose issue. Micro-controller chip adopts LPC2210, which has Philips ARM7 kernel. USB interface module adopts Philips USB main controller chip-PDIUSB12, which is based on USB 1.1 protocol and bulk transfer mode. Finally it discusses the deficient of the debug platform. It also proposes further improvement measure and prospects for the future development. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | TFT-LCD, LCM, ARM, USB, μC/OS-Ⅱ | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
