| The definition of Reorder is to regain the correct sequence of a series of information, which is shuffled on the aspect of time, by means of buffering, comparing, exchanging, etc. Reorder is a wide concept. As the packet switching technology emerged, reordering in switching system was evaluated as an essence in communication system, since the disorder phenomenon is almost everywhere in packet switching system. Researchers proposed buffering, flow control, acknowledgement and re-transmission as methods to solve disorder problem and problems introduced by disorder.As computer network exhibits tremendous progresses these years, it places huge impact on traditional telecommunication industry, but also brings new opportunity for evolution of network technology. Construction of high speed, large volume, and broad-band integrated business network is a trend in developing process of modern IT. The development reaches two fields, one is high speed electronic switching system, one is optical switching technology.Parallel plane switching and optical burst switching received wide concern as leading technologies in two respective fields. This thesis is based on author's research and development in these two fields. The importance of reorder in these two fields is described. Causes and attributes of two problems are analyzed. Solutions, cached link list and preemptive allocation reordering are proposed respectively. The former one is proved feasible and effective by practical implementation, and advantage of the latter one is verified by simulation. At last, future research topics of two problems are probed. |
