| The electronic commodity trading systems used in different fields are faced to different problems in their design and application. Global Information Infrastructure Commission(GIIC) defines the electronic business in the report draft of electronic trading commission as follows: "Electronic business is economic activities by using electronic communication, by which people can propagandize, buy and balance production with economic value and service. The mode of trading is impervious to the location, finacing and the ownership of retail channel, the economic activities can be attended by corporation, company, government organization, varian society groups and ordinary citizens, which includes agriculture, fish culture, industry and the service from private sector and government. The electronic business can make the production traded in the whole world and provides various choices forn the customers."With the increasing of the electronic trading importance and the improvement of the software and hardware performance, the electronic trading is widespread in the contemporary society. However, the traditional C/S model isn't adaptive to the development of electronic trading, because this model has many deadly disadvantages, for example: the workload of server is heavy, the expansibility of system is bad, the cost of setting up and maintenance is expensive, the efficient of communication is low and the safety is weak, etc. In order to solve these problems and accelerate the development of electronic commodity trading system, the strcture C/S/S is used. The middleware is the most important technique, and it is also a prominent character of the tri-layer structure. The characters of real-time, safety, reliability and heterogeneity are all represented in the design and realization of middleware. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the middleware and the effect of the techniques used in the middleware before we realize a real-time, safe, reliable and heterogeneous one. In order to prove that the performance of middleware is high and efficient, most of the primary methods are experimentation or simulation formerly. But, the experimentation is affected by other factors and need a lot of program codes, so it is lack of stability and pertinency, which will suffer from the expensive cost of middleware design. In this paper, we model of the middleware and evaluate its performance by using Petri Nets, so the importance of middleware for improving the performance of trading system is proved theoretically, which provides theoretic evidence for the further design and configuration of... |
