Communication Power Centralized Monitoring System Design And Implementation

With the development of the technology, the automatic equipment of communication grows quickly. Furthermore, more communication devices provide more possibilities of central monitoring system. A great deal of power supply devices and air-condition devices are distributed in all kinds of workstations. Using the monitoring system, the maintenance staff can find the malfunction and then send workers to solve the problems on site if it is necessary. Consequently the communication office doesn't need to keep certain maintenance workers in the computer room all day and all night to patrol, take note, repair and correct failure.Communication Power Supply Monitoring System is the shortened form of the centralized monitoring and management system for Communication Power Supply, air-condition and machinery room environment. It is a kind of distributed computer control system and a kind of computer integrated system combined with several technologies included sensor modern computers, communications, networks and human-machine systems. It is able to realize three-tele functions included telemeasure, telecommunicate and telecontrol. This kind of monitoring system is of great importance to realize modern maintenance and scientific management to communication power supply.This paper analyzed its function division, basic parts, gradation structure, configuration principle and network topology. Then, after talking about above-mentioned points, this paper put forward a complete design program for a monitoring system. The detailed design content included the whole structure design, its hardware design, software design and network design.This system introduced a three-gradation structure, that is, supervision unit (SU) , supervision station (SS) and supervision center (SC). In the part of hardware design, SU is emphasized. In the part of software design, module idea is adopted and the main flow chart is advanced. This software achieved real time monitoring.In the end, the paper summarized the whole design works and described the prospects of the research.
