Based on the Temperature Measurement System of Infrared, most aspects of how to implement this system are discussed detailed in this passage. Hardware design which is the platform of the system is the first section. It uses the DSP+FPGA architecture. The DM642 DSP of TI corporation is used for infrared image capturing, processing and displaying. The infrared image is captured from the front part through digital video data port. And DSP outputs user interface to a video encoder which converts digital data signals to analog video signals. For the image data storage function, a mass storage device SD card also be added to this system. That will be useful for data gathering and analyzing. The embedded software is the most significant part of Temperature Measurement System. To gain a graphics-user-interface for this system, a special embedded software system for DM642 is designed. And It has powerful graphics drawing functions. Not only it can support multi-shape drawing, but also can output any English characters, Chinese texts and many dialogs. Many elements of the GUI, such as color bar, text box, label, preference dialog are implemented depend on this embedded software system. To support mass storage devices, a FAT32 file system which is widely used also be implemented. Based on the file system, temperature measurement system of infrared can save the infrared image which captured in the working ground to the SD card. And then it may be transferred to any other system which supports FAT file system, such as windows operating system.
