| More and more non-linear electric power loads such as electric power engine,electric arc furnace and equipment of frequency conversion are connected into electric power network, which cause heavy harmonic pollution in power system. The traditional passive filter also named as LC filter has its advantages such as simple structure, high, operation reliability,low operation cost and so on,and it can compensate harmonics and var,so it's widely used.But the effect of the passive filter depends on the system impedance characteristics and it is easily affected by the network's harmonic pollution degree,temperature excursion,filter capacitance aging,and the influence of non-linear loads' changing,and more it causes magnify of harmonic current.These problems influence the passive filter's performance heavily.This paper studies and designs a single tuned filter based on a controllable reactor,it could filter odd harmonics such as 3rd or 5th or 7th and so on. This filter conquers the traditional passive filter's deficiency, it is capable of tracking harmonic and conquering magnify of harmonic. Its main idea is to use controllable reactor to adjust inductance continuously, so to keep filter working around resonance point. This design bases on DSP processor TMS320VC5402 to realize controllable reactor's continuous adjustment.The design consists of two parts. One part includes the insulation and conversation of hign voltage and current, the other part uses DSP as controller, it consists of data collection module, the analysis and calculation module and control module etc. The design makes use of the rectifier circuit to check out the used method and the designed controllable single tuned filter. |
