High power linear amplifier is the key component of satellite communications, wireless communications, high capacity numeral microwave communications, CATV, WLAN and other communication systems. High efficiency and linearization are the main requires of the communication systems to the power amplifiers. Most of the power amplifiers using in the military systems today are importations and the army needs the homemade linear power amplifiers urgently.In this paper, we considered both efficiency and linearization, and take the scheme of self-reaction control module plus predistortion and feed-forward technologies to improve the high power amplifier's linearity. Because of the self-control module, the linearization power amplifier system can work steadily in defiance of the changing of temperature, time, input power etc. It makes the system more practicably and expends the use of linearization system.Results are given for a series of two-tones inter-modulation distortion measurements and the IM3 is 48dBc. It is shown that a 24dB improvement in the inter-modulation margin can be achieved when the amplifier's output is 49dBm. And the efficiency of the whole system is 27.8%.We combined the predistortion and feed-forward technologies and added self-reaction control module to build a linear power amplifier system. And it has high efficiency and high linearization.
