The Design And Realization Of Embedded Production And Testing Tools Product Assistant

With the development of technology of the embedded hardware, new idea of hardware design constantly come along, product of hardware has been updating with unprecedented speed. The situation of the embedded hardware system require embedded equipment's producing and testing of a higher standard. On traditional production line, single hardware testing and program solidification can not match up to embedded trade development neither in cost nor development cycle. So we need a kind of assistant produce tool to test embedded equipment and solid program in large scale production line.The goal of this subject is to design and realize a kind of professional tool to use in large scale production line for PCB testing and program solidification. First, this subject analyse situation and tendency of currently produce testing.On the basis of the analyse, establish the goal and conception of the subject. Then explain the basic conception and logic of the produce assistant tool– ProductAssistant, and make the key technique of the implement of the ProductAssistant. On the basis of analysis of the logic, we deeply study the GDB RSP protocol, and define the communicate protocol of ProductAssistant with target. When produce and test, ProductAssistant need to download executable file in ELF format to target. As there is unnecessary to integrate GDB to ProductAssistant, downloading ELF file need ProductAssistant complete independently. So we must have idea of ELF format file.The analysis of ELF format file prepare for later design of Production.On the basis of analysis of a series of key technology, we solved substrative communication, program download, data visit and a series of key technical problem, and then implement produce assistant tool-ProductAssistant.
