The Service Unit Network Architecture (SUNA) put forward by new network architecture Lab,University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, is a sort of non-layer architecture.It works with Virtual Circuit in point to point,which can ensure quality of service through reserving resource. Service Unit (SU) only provides services, and does not receive any services, thus it avoids inter-layer interactions and costs of delivering services. The Click router system which is put forward by Doctor Eddie Kohler, MIT and implemented by the MIT Laboratory for Computer Science abstracts function of Router into absolute module.The design of this paper is Based on SUNA and consulted to the Click router system.This paper introducts the Service Unit (SU) prototype router under SUNA and its implementation. This paper discusses the design and implement of the Virtual Circuit module of the SU router in detail.In our design,we define the process unit of packet. SU router is consist of these unit,whose configuration is stream of packet along transport.Our module is devided into two parts, configuration program and process program.The configuration program can construct all kinds of web node according to need. The function of Virtual Circuit module includes creating Virtual Circuit, transmitting packet along Virtual Circuit,canceling Virtual Circuit and control of data flux.Based on Object Oriented Programming, I designed Virtual Circuit module of prototype SU router and coded its function with C++ in linux kernel. The task of this paper comes from the XXX creative fund.Because no one has done this prototype host before,we have met some difficulties.We utilized some advanced technology,discussed with our professors and teamates and finally get the solutions.At last,the result of testing proved that SU router can transmit packets correctly at suitable rate and less drop rate.Now SU router has passed check of expert team.We summarize this paper and put forward suggestion about the future of SU router in the end of this paper.
