A number of modern ceramics were sold abroad, however where they were concretely was vague. The component of glaze material was managed in disorder. Consequently, the study of the relationship between glaze material component and glaze color lacked intuitionistic method and means. So, it was urgent to found management system about the high-quality porcelain wares.Chinese ancient ceramic have greater science study value and economical value. If we want to differentiate the pottery products, first we must collect large numbers of ceramic samples that their kiln addresses and dynasties are known, then saving accumulated datum unfailingly, for example, chemical ingredients data including major chemical ingredients data and microelement chemical ingredients data. Thus founding ancient ceramic database was on the tiptoe of expectation all along in every social domain.In this dissertation, we selected the most prevalent SQL Server2000 database as back-end server and Delphi7 as developing tool, developing management system about high-quality porcelain wares and ancient ceramic database. The high-quality porcelain wares management system offers modern ceramic industry a set of modern and efficient information management mode. It provides fast finding tool for high-quality porcelain wares and helps to study and develop fartherly. Ancient ceramic database achieved the interface about Delphi and Excel, besides having management function. The procedure was optimized due to programmed SQL Server Stored Procedure. Consequently, the procedure efficiency was improved.This paper figured out several doubt questions, which were met in developing the Delphi database application.
