Based On Gis Fire Information System

Since the reform and opening, along with the high speed of national economy development, every city has been constructing unceasingly, urban population increases rapidly, all kinds of large, ultra-large scale public recreation area increase rapidly, these all cause the city fire ascend. In today that technology highly develops, the fire is a kind of disaster which occurs most frequently and destructs strongly. By full use of modern technical method, including computer technology, modern communication technology, management information system technology and geographic information system technology, establishes the GIS city fire prevention information system, effectively dispatch and scientifically use fire prevention and disaster reduction resources, to reduce the people life and property loss maximum by minimum price.The city geographic information system as new space information management system based on the GIS has played the very major role in urban planning, construction, municipal administration management, economical consultation and resources, environmental protection. It has widespread application as an auxiliary policy-making method and tool in the developed country. Today, it is the important symbol of a city management level whether the city has advanced city geographic information system. It proposed a new research direction for us. to apply the geographic information system in the city fire prevention domain.Because massive spatial data and massive spatial analysis need in city fire emergency decision-making process, this article studies the city fire prevention information system by utilization theory and method about geographic information system, software process, algorithm design and analysis. The paper introduced the elementary theory, present application situation and development tendency of geographic information system, in view of the present situation and characteristic of fire prevention information system application, investigated and studied the superiority and application situation of domestic and foreign correlative products, multiply analyzed the user's demand for fire prevention information system. Based on the analysis, took MapInfo as GIS development platform, MapX5.0 and VB6.0 as the development kits, proposed a fire prevention information system design, the design detailly introduced every aspect of the fire prevention information system including the plan goal, the system frame, the software structure, the hardware network model, the database design ,the function composition ,and so on.
