Integration of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Automatic Process Control (APC) is an advanced method for quality control, but the study on this method mostly focused on continual manufacturing before both domestic and overseas. The paper takes time series model IMA (1,1) for example, it studies the method and technique to integrate SPC and APC under discrete manufacturing environment through simulation based on theory analysis. The simulation studies the performance of the integrative control technique and respectively the single one according to MSD (mean squared deviation). The result of the simulation shows that the integrative control technique is much better than respectively the single one.The paper first discusses the basic theories of quality control, the background of proposing the integrative control technique and the studies both domestic and overseas. Then it details the basic principles and methods of SPC and APC. After that the paper analyses the tools to achieve the integrative control technique, especially the design of the control chart and the controller, and it proves the effect and efficiency of this technique through simulation study. At last this paper puts forward some issues to further consider when we use the integrative control technique.
