| The video monitoring system is the important integrate part of the safety guard system. And it is also a kind of comprehensive system which provides strong safety guarding. The video monitoring system which keeps visible, convenient and the signal abundant extensively applies in many realms. In recent years, along with the rapid development of computer science, network, the image processing technology and transmission technology, the video monitoring technique also makes a substantial progress. The digital multi-media monitoring system merging the multi-media technology, the digital image processing technology and long-distance transmission technology etc., is replacing the traditionally analog video monitoring system gradually.For the customers' needs, in this thesis, I design and carry out a PCI card of 4 ways capturing and compressing audio & video signal. It is based on a video decoder of TVP5150, an audio & video collecting circuit of PCM1801, the central processor of DSPs-TMS320DM642. It is applied to build a multi-media digital monitoring system with high stability and credibility.This thesis introduces the compressing arithmetic about the audio & video and compressing card at first. And then I describe the hardware design based on compressing card with professionally multimedia dealing chip of TM320DM642, which consists of the DSP circuit, the power circuit, the reset circuit, the clock circuit, capturing video circuit, capturing audio circuit, monitoring audio circuit, etc. After that, I discuss the problems need to pay attention to in designing PCB with high speed and mixed analog & digital, and also analyze all timing of expansion circuit. Finally, I describe the test and application of the card.Because this card has well function and stability, it can realize audio & video monitoring up to 32 ways on a single computer. It has sound property and reasonable price, it has made many profits and gained great fame for my company, and it becomes one of the main products in my company. |
