Support System For A Manufacturing Decision-making Based On Data Warehouse Design And Implementation,

Currently, a right decision-making is more and more important in business market competition for an enterprise. It is necessary to build DSS(Decision Support System) for every company by using DW(Data Warehouse) and Web technical skills.In a DW system, data is a key point and most of analysis and applications are all related to data. DW lifecycle always includes requirements collection, requirements analysing, system designing, concept designing, logistical designing and physical designing.In this paper, we introduce one of most famous ERP software SAP briefly in the beginning. Then we talk about several base knowledge and methodology of DW, we also present some technical skills which is close to DW. Finally, we present OLAP application and report center in DW and Business Intelligence system.
