The measurement of variables is the foundation of the scientific research and the development, and whether managing the variable quantification as well as the degree of quantification is the important symbol of scientific managing level of development. The evaluation of synthesis management variable uses the subjective appraisal evaluation method most time, the validity and credit has been oppugned frequently (oppugned deeply), and what kind of evaluating method is adapted to enhance the validity and credit of evaluation result and assist the method of subjective appraisal evaluation, has already become one of focal point questions which the management studied and practiced urgently awaited to be solved.The paper carries on the research to measure objectively the knowledge work difficulty through the experimental study. The paper has carried on the analysis to the difficulty on the basic of literature research related, and defined that the difficulty obtained from subjective evaluation because of being different from person to person named subjective difficulty; and defined that the difficulty obtained from objective evaluation because of appraisal object characteristic difference named objective difficulty. The paper also has carried on present situation of the research for the method of subjective and objective evaluation simultaneity, summarizing the defection of subjective appraisal evaluation, elaborated feasibility of adapting method for electronic physiology survey; profiting from the neuroelectricity physiology research technique; designing brain electricity experiment based on the difficulty; analyzing both reaction-time data and brain-electricity data. Result show that relation of subject evaluation is not non-line relation but exponential relation and which obey psychological physics law: Steven's law. The brain electric power spectrum and the brain electronic topographic diagram analyzing result indicated that the brain electric power spectrum change may reflect the changing tendency of experimental work difficulty, the brain electronic terrain graph appears the regionalizing trend of cerebrum computation. Through the brain electric power spectrum analysis indicated that the frequency band performance number increases along with the difficulty reduces betweenα(8~12.8 Hz), and other frequency bands do not have the obvious rule change; in the course of mental arithmetic work, major part function of brain has all carried on the participation, and has the varying active degree which the highest degree is frontal lobe, and the lowest is occipital lobe, and it is consistent with conclusion related before basically.Knowledge work process is cognitive process. The paper uses the brain electronic experimental technique to discuss objective measurement for knowledge work difficulty, and this method has provided the objective research model for the knowledge work difficulty measurement research, and exponential relation has provided the reference standard (effect standard) for appraisal classifier or rank transformed to number, and it can also enhance objectivity precision and of the subjective appraisal evaluation. The discussion of the paper also supports the experimental study method of cognitive science and the testing method, thus it has the widespread application prospect in the economical and managing research.
