Missile Simulator System is part of integration project of simulator; it's developed for series arms system, for simulated experiment and testing. Missile Simulator is mostly used to detect and determine whether the Ignition Signal and Basic Firing Data eradiated by earth weapon system such as electropult that is in a state of launching is exact for missile launching, so as to give reference information to determine whether the missile is launched or not. Against this background, this paper mainly focuses on the design and implementation of a real time data acquisition system, Ethernet communication, and man-machine interaction interface based on PC104/486 hardware.First, this paper works out a design plan of Missile Simulator System.VxWorks embedded real-time OS is used in the software design of Missile Simulator System, in order to improve real-time performance and reliability. According to the function requirements and technical targets of Missile Simulator System, a design plan is raised which consist of host computer and slave computer, to solve the problem that the VxWorks OS can't support graphics effectively.Then, this paper gives a detailed description of VxWorks kernel, including task management, interrupt and timing management, etc.By thorough analysis of device driver work principles, device driver program design of data acquisition card EAD1612 is complemented.VxWorks adopts modularization design method, separates the functions and information which rely on hardware environment, puts them into modules called BSP (Board Support Package) which will provide interface to topper application software. The network start-up and network loading of VxWorks OS image is implemented by modifying BSP and parameter assignment.Afterward,Ethernet communication with topper computer is accomplished, the data acquisition will be transmitted to topper computer where they will be real-time analyzed and processed.The Missile Simulator System with high reliability is useful for application and extension of future missile production. It will generate remarkable social and economic returns.
