With the coming of information era, information technology based on computer and network is increasingly becoming the footstone of social development, and influences every field of human social lives. With the active promotation of Information Education countries all over the world, researchers round the world are attaching even more Importance to computer attitudes. What computer attitudes concern is computer's impact on social life and individual's comprehension, the purpose of computer attitudes research is to find out the obstacles users meet when learn computers and provides help for their learning and application of computers. Normal Universities are cradles of cultivating teacher resources, they assume responsibilities of cultivating eligible teacher resources for Foundational & Higher Education, all the students cultivated by these universities ought to possess relative better information technology capacity and apply new information technology actively in their future educational and teaching work. From this point, it can be said that computer attitudes of graduate students from higher normal universities will influence the process of National Education Informationalization, so the research on computer attitudes of graduate students has theoretic and practical significance in the course of promoting Information Education.This research use questionnaire survey method, the author developed "Graduate Student Computer Attitudes Scales" based on relative computer attitudes literatures and characteristics of graduate students in Higher Normal University, the scalses summed to 22 items, including four factors: "computer anxiety", "computer interest", "computer confidence" /'computer usefulness" and the Cronbach's α coefficient of the holistic scale is 0.886, showing it is a high reliability Scale. This research uses approximate 3000 master graduate students from graduate 2004, graduate 2005, graduate 2006 as testing objects. The author did a statistic analysis on their attitudes towards computers from the perspective of speciality, sex, grade, experience on computer use, computer application circumstance etc. Then, the author draws a conclusion of the research and provided some advice.The statistics show that the holistic computer attitudes difference between computer related subjects students and computer irrelated graduate students are significant, except that their mean scores difference on "computer usefulness" isn't significant, the mean scores difference of "computer anxiety", "computer confidence", "computer interest" between computer related subjects students and computer irrelated subjects students are significant. Computer related subjects graduate students' holistic attitudes towards computer are better that those of computer irrelated subjects graduate students. This research also shows that the holistic computer attitudes between different sexual graduate students are significant, male and female graduate students' mean scores difference on "computer confidence" and "computer interest" are significant, male students' holistic computer attitudes are better than those of female students.The author investigated the influence of computer use experience on graduate students' computer attitudes from the perspective of computer use years, computer use time per week, the results show that the holistic computer attitudes difference among graduate students with different computer use years, except the mean difference of "computer interest" isn't significant, the mean socres difference among all other three factors are significant, father more, with more computer use years, the mean scores of the four factors increase with the increase of computer user years. On the other hand, the holistic computer attitudes difference among different computer use time per week are significant, the difference among the three factors of "computer anxiety", "computer confidence", "computer usefulness" are significant.On the factor of computer use inviroments the research finds whether individual possesses a computer, has significant difference on graduate students' computer attitudes: students who possess a compute have higher mean scores on "computer anxiety" and "computer confidence", the mean sores difference between the two factors are significant. Futher more, whether personal computers are connected with internet also have significant influence on graduate students' holistic computer attitudes. Students whose computers are connected with internet gets higher mean scores on "computer anxiety" and "computer confidence", the mean scores difference between the students are significant. Whether any other family member can use computer on master graduate students's holistic computer attitudes isn't significant.Finally, the author provides some advice on higher normal university computer education and points out limititaion of this research and advances futher research plan.
