Student Achievement In Web-based Management System Design And Realization

With the quick development of Internet and web,the database technology had close relation with web.The web-database technology appeared and played a more and more vital role in the database application as one kind of emerging technique.The B/S system pattern used by web-database has become mainstream pattern of network database system development. Therefore, the research on how to develop an advanced, secure, multiplatform and efficient Web application system is more and more important.The Student Score Management is the important constituent of the university student manages. Since a long time, it mostly has depended upon the handwork or the single computer to the student Score Management. This causes the work to become extremely miscellaneous and inefficient.It is possible to solve the problem with the university campus network rapid popularization.It is extremely essential to develop the Student Score Management System Based on Web in order to make the administrative personnel to extricate from the miscellaneous work.Firstly, this thesis introduces the research background of the studies and the demands. It also analyses and compares the several main technologies of accessingdatabase on Web------CGI,API,ASP,JSP and PHP. Then the thesis attach moreimportance on discussing the ASP solution to the Student Score Management System Based on Web with ASP technology. It describes the overall design and implementation of the system architecture, the system flow, the system functions, the data structures and the system security. In the solution, the three-tier architecture based on B/S is adopted and Microsoft IIS 5.0 is used as the Web server. The thesis describes the research principles, the realizing methods and the security design. In addition, it illuminates parts of the system functions.The Student Score Management System based on Web has run successfully. It is a convenient way for the communication between the users and the management and it has the advantages of enhancing working efficiency and improving the management. Moreover, it is easy to be maintained and upgraded.
