Electromagnetic interference (EMI), especially at the high-frequency (1GHz-18GHz)is one of the best important characteristics of the magnetron. With the enhancement of the international standard on the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), all manufacturers are focusing on how to improve it. Due to its ability to restrain the emission of the high-order harmonic, the choke-structure has been used to improve the EMI of the magnetron widely. This thesis is focused on the problem described above. Based on the in-depth analysis on the production mechanism of the high-frequency EMI and the restraint principles of the high-order harmonics, we have optimized the choke-structure by using the simulation software. A lot of experiments have been performed to demonstrate it. For improving the EMI by using the optimized choke-structure in the existing products, the craft and assembly clamps have been redesigned. The main results are as follows:1. The characteristics and production mechanism of the high-frequency EMI of the existing products have been investigated in details.2. The restraint principles for the emission of the high-order harmonics have been studied. The filtering characteristics of the chock-structure have been demonstrated by simulations and experiments.3. The influence resulted from the added chock-structure have been analyzed and modified.4. The problems for the volume-production with the chock-structure have been discussed.
