Digital T / R Module Test Technology Research

With the quick development of the digital processing technology and the digitalhardware, the digital array radar has been developed to the stage of the experiment systemresearch. The digital t/r module is the core part of the digital array radar, and theperformance index of it will have a direct impact on that of the digital array radar.Therefore it will be of great value in practice to study on the testing technique of the digitalt/r module.The paper is mainly about the digital t/r module testing technique. Firstly, the basiccomposing and working principle of the digital t/r module are introduced. The functionindexes of the digital t/r module are analyzed at the same time. Secondly, scheme of thetesting technique of the digital t/r module is designed. Based on the digital spectrumanalysis, the testing methods of the analog to digital converter, the digital quadraturedemodulator, the consistency of the receiving passages, the direct digital synthesizer, andthe consistency of the transmitting passages are discussed. Also the computer simulationhas been made. Finally, the testing software of the testing system is designed on thefoundation of GPIB protocol.
