The rapid development of communication made stringent requirements for receivers to be low power, high performance, low cost and small factor. The design of RF front-end of receiver is important to meet these requirements.This thesis summarized the evolvement of design technology of RF receiver from the aspects of system architecture, circuit technology and process technology. then the author briefly elucidated the ABC of RF&ADS. Based this, the collectivity targets of the receiver and the performance features of every part were given. It consisted of CP microtrip antenna modules, LNA modules, image rejection filter modules, DRO modules and single balance mixer modules. These modules were designed and simulated separately.IE3D and ADS were used to design, optimize and simulate all the circuits. As a result, We can not only reduce the R&D cost, but also easily realize the goal with them, which can be used in designing receiver RF front-end.
