Wave soldering technology is a widely used sealing technique, especiallyto solder the inserting parts. Along with the development of SMT, the categoryof soldering is more and more, so the use of SMT parts is more widely. ManyPCB of inserting parts are still used, it is very important to research wave sold-ering control system.This paper describes software and hardware design and the temperature con-trol arithmetic of wave soldering system based of material project. It adopts di-stributed control system which is widely used in industry control domain, it runs steadily,good anti-jamming ability and easy to expand. It utilizes programmmable logic controller to control, and uses Intouch software to design the pro-ject's interface. The temperature arithmetic is embedding to the monitor interf-ace by OPC technology. Its arrangement and structure are clearly, easy to upd-ate.The temperature has big inertia and pure lag. This project controls the temp-erature by back promulgate neural network, and particularly analyzes all kindsof parameters that affect the stove's temperature by the angle of diathermanoustechnique. It confirms five important parameters and constructs five inputs-one output dynamic model. This model optimizes the system parameters by ne-ural network's self study ability. This control arithmetic achieves the target bytest, and the effect is very good.
