Thermal Shock Parameter Test System

Control systems in the design and implementation are filled with uncertainties. When the parameters of objects in control change greatly, the general Feedback, Optimal and Tuning Control are often impossible to solve the problem successfully, thus result in Adaptive Control. Self-tuning Control System is the more mature Adaptive Control by far, which regulates parameters on line ,maintains optimal of system, so it is used widely in various types of complex processes control with delay.The Thermal Shock system designed in the paper is used to test the characteristic of the Thermal Barrier Coating in thermal shock. Compared with other equipments, we learn their advantages, and give an innovative design on experiment mode, temperature control system and result disposal. Especially, the temperature system is a typical system with delay, and the general control methods seldom get good result, so we choose Self-tuning Control system. Its parameter estimator uses the Recursive Least Squares Algorithm with forgetting factor, and controller chooses a generalized Indirect Self-tuning PID control algorithm, Identifying model parameters and designing controller on line, by using the system to improve the accuracy of experiment. The design combines PLC with MATLAB to implement the algorithm, breakthroughing the conventional idea, and reduce the cost of system.In addition, we also design the hardware and man-machine interface of system. With the device, it not improves the accuracy, but reduces the manual part in experiment, and improves efficiency; at the same time it provides results in report forms, curves and pictures, which play an important role in the next research.
